Approach
I believe that we all have the innate capacity to heal within ourselves; it’s not something that is bestowed upon us by another. And I also understand that therapy is a deeply relational experience. We need to feel felt in order heal our most painful wounds.
Often, before we can turn inwards to be with our own pain, we must borrow the brave and loving presence from another. My role is to provide that presence when you can’t find it in yourself. And to eventually guide you towards your own inner wisdom and courage.
Our work together will help you untangle from longheld stories, feelings, and beliefs that keep you from accessing this wisdom.
My Style
I’m a loving, playful and expressive person, both in my own life and in my therapeutic work. I don’t shy away from big expressions of emotion, and I will swear, laugh, and feel with you. I will also invite you to slow down and turn inwards and to connect with parts of yourself that need attention and care.
I treat therapy as a collaborative and creative process- one in which we sometimes get up out of our chairs, grab some pens and paper, and create metaphors together.

Right Use of Power
I’m dedicated to the work of undoing systems of oppression. For me this means constantly working to unlearn the culture of white supremacy, patriarchy, and capitalism and grapple with the ways that these have shaped my clients’ experiences, as well my own. This work is never done, and I’m always striving to dig deeper. In our therapeutic work, I invite my clients to consider how both systemic privilege and oppression has shaped their external experiences, as well as their internal world.
In my clinical work as well as my life, I strive to be anti-racist, sex-positive, gender-affirming, and body neutral/ positive. I work with clients of all identities, and welcome conversation and exploration of how these identities show up in my clients’ lives, as well as in our therapeutic relationship.
